Master of Advanced Studies MAS
Master's degree courses for continuing education represent a study performance of at least 60 credit points under the ECTS system, including a written dissertation. They are recognised at the Swiss federal level within the framework of Swiss legislation on universities of applied sciences. The qualification entitles the holder to bear the title ‘Master of Advanced Studies ZFH in (subject name)’.
Note: A Master's degree course based on a Bachelor's degree course is known as a consecutive Master's. The ZHAW School of Engineering offers the Master of Science in Engineering.

The postgraduate Master’s programme ‘MNT - Micro- and Nanotechnology’, a part-time course for working professionals, is a joint project in collaboration with the Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences, the NTB Buchs (CH), the Institute for Materials and Process Engineering (IMPE) of the ZHAW (CH), and the EMPA St. Gallen (CH), within the framework of the EUREGIO Bodensee region.
