You acquire the necessary basic knowledge of mathematics and the natural sciences

Subject-specific fundamentals

You acquire a solid knowledge of fundamentals that prepares you for your subject-specific education and your later career. These include knowledge of electrical engineering, metrology, measurement and control technology, electronics, digital technology, signals and systems, informatics as well as chemistry and materials technology.

Subject-specific specialisation

In the 3rd year of study you continue your subject-specific education in your chosen area. You can chose from a wide offer of modules and courses. For example: power electronics and drive technology, energy technology, automatic control, high frequency engineering, communication engineering and mobile communication, micro controllers, computer systems, automation engineering, microelectronics. In project-work, you independently implement application-oriented concepts designed to solve practical problems.

General education requirements

In interdisciplinary seminar weeks, syou study selected aspects of ecology, the environment and personnel management. Throughout your studies, you acquire competence in German and English. Emphasis is placed on language quality and its application in reports and presentations. In addition you receive an introduction to business administration and management.
