Embedded Systems are computers that control technical devices, such as washing machines or vehicles. They include mobile applications, which enable the development of new social networks with innovative modes of contact. In energy and medical technology, as well as in biological and scientific research, the complex embedded systems and sensor technology merge to form Cyber Physical Systems.
