Programme content

Subject-specific knowledge:

  • A solid basic training in natural sciences allows you to begin your studies of applied engineering subjects and your specialisation at an advanced level.
  • Specialisations: you choose between Mechatronics and Biomedical Engineering.


Practice-oriented aspects:

  • You solve case studies from the industry and gain insight into methods and tools for product development.
  • You assume project management roles such as project planning and presentation.
  • In your final year, you work on a project and your Bachelor thesis in conjunction with an industrial partner.


General competencies relevant to the programme:

  • Engineering in a social, economic and ecological context
  • Languages, business administration, law, etc.
  • Insight into the history and development of your respective specialist area
