Specialisation in Mechatronics

Mechatronics engineers develop mechatronic products for the technical environment. They are involved in all stages of the development process, from the original concept through the prototype stage to the end product. The Mechatronics specialisation provides students with the academic and technical skills necessary for this specialist area. Graduates have a thorough understanding of computer science, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering, and they are able to combine these disciplines.

Career opportunities

A specialisation in Mechatronics opens up career paths with industrial companies, service providers and high-tech companies. Mechatronics engineers are sought after in the areas of robotics, sensor and actuator technology, control engineering, automation technology and embedded systems.
